The campus offers modern facilities to 1100 students: libraries, lecture halls, campus sports, close contact to lecturers, alumni, industry representatives as well as a stimulating, dynamic and international atmosphere. Hochschule Geisenheim University is focused on bachelor and master study programs in the fields of viticulture & enology, international wine business, beverage technology, horticulture and landscape architecture. At the same time more than 50 PhD students are working in various research projects at the facility and provide bachelor and master students with the opportunity to get an insight into scientific research. Situated in the western part of Germany, along the banks of the river Rhine, Geisenheim is located in the heart of German viticulture and close to the picturesque landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage area "Oberes Mittelrheintal". At the same time it is only 60 km away from the city of Frankfurt, a European center of banking and finance and home to one of Europe’s largest airports.
